The Truck Stop Tour

Folks, a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do. Guest House is a short novel with a long-haul heart. Gene Garry drove a Freightliner and his son Matt sang along. Melba quit driving and took it up again, at a truck stop in Troutdale. When I give readings, do not expect a hushed bookstore. I'm taking Guest House to the streets.

I'm currently in negotiation to read at Jo Ann's Gear Jammer Truck Stop and Cafe in Salt Lake City. The tour will kick into high gear in July, following the route of Melba's road trip, with stops in Troutdale and LeGrand, Oregon and Boise and Blackfoot, in the great state of Idaho.

Do you like green beans and peach pie? Join me at a reading. Dates to be announced. And if anyone knows a trucker willing to haul me from one truck stop to the next, we just may make NPR.
